I’ve added another girl to my notebook. My wife thinks she should be called Trixy, with her eyepatch, pouty lips and tattoos. Bad girls are more fun to draw.

The original drawing was inspired by one of the paintings in Audrey Kawasaki’s solo show Mayoi Michi which opened last week at the Copro-Nason gallery. I finally got around to finishing the painting, and while it doesn’t really have anything to do with Audrey’s work anymore, I’m not too displeased with the result.
